Space for physiotherapy teams

Physiotherapy clinic space in Casablanca with room for a proper gym area

Physiotherapy clinic space needs an open area for exercise and rehab, closed rooms for hands-on treatment and easy access for patients who may be on crutches. Laya Office’s new units in Casablanca can be planned exactly that way. The building is on Route d’El Jadida in Hay Hassani, with two lifts from the entrance hall and two basement parking levels reserved for owners.

01

An open rehab area

Space for parallel bars, mats and exercise machines, which the 63 to 66 sq m units allow without giving up treatment rooms.

02

Private treatment rooms

Manual therapy, massage and electrotherapy call for closed rooms, partitioned to match the number of therapists on your team.

03

Patients on crutches

Two lifts connect the lobby to every floor, so post-surgery patients never have to tackle the stairs.

04

Floor loads

Placing heavy or vibrating equipment should be checked with your architect and a structural engineer before installation.

Frequently asked questions

How much space does a physiotherapy clinic need?

Plan for at least 60 sq m to combine a rehab gym, two treatment rooms, reception and an office. The 66 sq m units on floors 1 to 3 and the fourth-floor units E4-B1 and E4-B2, at 63 and 65 sq m with terraces, are the best fit.

Can I install heavy exercise equipment?

Equipment placement is planned as part of your fit-out. For heavy or vibrating machines, floor capacity and impact on neighbours should be checked with your architect and a structural engineer before you order anything. We can share the technical drawings available for the unit you shortlist.

Is access suitable for rehab patients?

Patients come in through the entrance hall and take one of two lifts to your floor. That is a real comfort for people on crutches, in a wheelchair or recovering from surgery, provided your fit-out includes wide doors and corridors.

Can a foreign physiotherapist set up here?

Buying the unit and being licensed to practise are separate questions. Property purchase is generally open to foreign buyers, while the right to practise should be confirmed with the relevant Moroccan professional body and a local adviser. We can arrange a video tour for you.

What is the price of a unit?

Pricing depends on size, floor and whether there is a terrace. We send the price list on request, together with live availability of the larger units that work well as a physiotherapy clinic. There are only four terrace units on the top floor, so it pays to enquire early.
